While we love each of the children in our lives, we wish to limit the amount of children to immediate family only. We request you treat our wedding as a child free vacation. If you need information about local childcare options, please let us know.

Yes! Please come dressed to impress in your favorite formal or cocktail attire. 

We encourage all our guests to make our wedding the vacation that we all know you deserve. Take a long weekend and enjoy all that Brasada has to offer. As for the day of, the ceremony will start at 4:30pm sharp so please come early to allow plenty of time to get settled, enjoy the decor and mingle with friends and family.

The ceremony will be short but outdoors. Since this is Oregon in February, we could see anything from full sun, rain or even snow. Please plan accordingly... if that is possible. The reception will be located indoors.

We’ve asked a professional photographer to capture this special moment so that you can sit back and enjoy it with us. Our beautiful images will be available after the wedding. Please note this ask applies to the ceremony only and not the reception.

Beer and wine will be provided along with a buffet style dinner. You'll have to wait and see what type of cuisine but we're sure you'll enjoy it. It was one of the first things Derek requested when wedding planning started. If you have dietary restrictions, there is a place to list those during the RSVP process - we will do our best to accommodate.

Your love, laughter, company and dance moves on our wedding day is the greatest gift of all.

•  Shannon will have a single purple flower in her bouquet in honor of their pup Addison who passed in November. Addison's name was originally "Grape" when Shannon adopted her from the Oregon Humane Society over 15 years ago.
• All the wood lanterns were designed and made by Derek.
• Shannon will be walked down the aisle by her brother, Shaun.
• Derek can letterpress better than Shannon - he did that step for majority of the invites which were entirely handmade by the couple.
• Shannon's ring was designed by the couple using stones that are new (center stone) and donated from family on both sides. The ring you see in the top picture of this webpage is not her finished ring so be sure to sneak a look at the completed one when you're at the wedding!
